I am a fairly recent arrival in Perth (arrived January 2005) from Manchester, England.

Whilst researching Perth ready for our arrival, I couldn’t find one site that had all the information that I needed.

I have a young family plus a husband who needed to concentrate on his job and that left me to arrange a house rental, buying new mobile phones, getting drivers licences, arranging connection of services like telephone, internet access, gas and water etc.

Plus I wanted to be able to go out to parks, to safe beaches and to see the sights. Everywhere I looked had some of the information but not all and I found that I was trawling the internet for hours.

I hope that This Perth Life helps you to find all the information you need and points you in the right direction quickly and simply.
