Sculpture By The Sea 2008

We visited Sculpture by the Sea this past weekend, took a picnic and generally had a great time but I did think that it wasn't quite as exciting as last years exhibition.
I'm not sure why. Maybe there were more exhibits that could be touched, poked and prodded last year or maybe it was that the sculptures just seemed to be bigger but I was a teensy bit disappointed.
That's the problem with things like this though isn't it? Each year you expect just a little bit bigger and better and it's just not going to happen.
I'd certainly recommend this event to you (it's on until 18 March), but next year I'm going to go with a more open mind and try to forget what was there the year before. That way I'm sure to enjoy myself to the fullest.
