Loud Shirt Day

Husband mentioned "Loud Shirt Day" to me the other day and said that he would probably wear his extra loud almost florescent pink shirt to work. Why he was telling me that so far in advance I'm not sure. Maybe he wants me to put it on the calendar or something? More likely it will need an iron before he wears it and that's why he's brought it up!
Anyhoo if you fancy wearing a loud shirt (or socks or tie) in aid of Telethon's Speech & Hearing programmes, then get yours ready to wear on the 15th of May 2009.
Throw out your usual dress rules and get your work or school to participate by wearing the loudest, brightest or craziest shirt, tie or socks, in return for a gold coin donation to Telethon Speech and Hearing.

I'm also from Perth but am now in Europe joining my husband on his expat assignment (first in Reading, UK and then now in Florence, Italy). Your blog is making me a little homesick ;)
