Plans for Ocean Reef

With us living in the Northern Suburbs, we've heard a rumour about big plans for Ocean Reef Boat Harbour since we arrived.
Well finally it looks as though it is going to go ahead.
Joondalup City Council have approved a $800 million marina development which would include residential, commercial and recreational facilities.
Like Hillaries Boat Harbour it would have an artificial reef with two man-made child friendly beaches.
With more and more land being opened up north of Ocean Reef and Hillaries being so busy all the time, it sounds like a great plan to me!
