Grafitti Crack Down
It's about time.
When we arrived in Perth nearly 5 years ago, there was hardly any graffitti. In fact it was one of the things that I mentioned to family, the lack of graffitti was noticable.
Not any more. Now it seems to be everywhere.
Finally the Government are doing something about it and introducing fines of up to $24,000 and up to 2 years in jail.
But will it stop them? Has anyone actually seen a graffitti "artist" at work? They seem to do all their work at night under the cover of darkness. I've certainly never seen anyone actually doing graffitti but I have seen graffitti magically appear overnight.
I just hope it works.

Can't say I notice much graffiti round here, but the chewing gum is the thing that gets me. Horrible little circles of gum all over the pavements. Also, litter. Just no need for it. I wish we were more like Singapore - chewing gum is banned and miscreants are sent on public litter picks!
